At linkonlearning.com we recognize that our members are concerned about
the privacy of the information that we collect from our members and our
plans for using this information. Linkonlearning collects personally identifiable
information (name, e-mail address, etc.) and/or demographic data (city,
postal code, zip code, school names, interests, etc.) that you submit
when you: 1) register for our services, 2) complete a survey, or 3) send
us an e-mail. We may use this information to process and maintain your
account, compile demographic statistics about our users, and display to
you information and advertisements that match your interests and profile.
We will never sell your personal information to any company for any reason.
1. Collection of Information
When you register as a parent/administrator we ask for your name, e-mail
address and other profile information. When you add a student we also
ask for credit card and billing information. When you register a student,
we ask parents/administrators for their student’s name, e-mail address,
and other profile information. We may request additional profile information
for optional online surveys and identification verification.
In the course of using our website, we log certain information, including
your IP address, the browser you are using, and the previous URL you were
visiting. Linkonlearning.com uses IP addresses (random numbers assigned
to individual computers) to help administer our Web site and anonymously
track content preferences and traffic patterns. We also use your IP address
to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our website.
We also use cookies (small text files transferred from our Web site to
your hard drive) to recognize repeat users, track usage behavior, and
facilitate your access to and use of our site. Cookies do not damage files
or allow anyone to access your personally identifiable information --
they simply allow us to tailor information and advertisements to make
your visits more enjoyable and meaningful.
If you send us correspondence, such as e-mails or letters, or if other
users or third parties send us correspondence about your activities on

aggregate reports on students' interests and behaviors. We will not identify
specific individuals in reports.

We use your e-mail address, and in some situations, your mailing address

an agent of Linkonlearning may contact you to ensure you are satisfied
with the service or to update your account.)

we have reason to believe it is necessary to identify, contact, or bring

4. Control of Passwords
You are required to control your password as described in the Linkonlearning
Use Agreement.
If you have forgotten your password, please contact us at support@linkonlearning.com.
Your password will be e-mailed to you shortly thereafter.
Linkonlearning will never ask for your password in an unsolicited phone
call or e-mail.
5. Security
The security of the information you provide to linkonlearning.com is
important to us. We use encryption software, and other security measures
to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of sensitive information under
our control. We use Secure Socket Layers (SSL) to encrypt sensitive data
you send to us. Access to our site is password protected. A high-strength
firewall protects our database from outsiders.
Linkonlearning.com's site includes banner links to other sites from our
sponsors, and when you choose to visit those sites, we are not responsible
for their privacy policies or actions, and you should review the privacy
policies of these parties when supplying personally identifiable information

information by Linkonlearning.

Linkonlearning urges parents, teachers and guardians to discuss with their
children restrictions regarding the online release of Personal Information
to anyone they don't know and to monitor their children's Internet activities.
We strive to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection
Act of 1998 (COPPA). Please read this Privacy Policy in its entirety to
understand what Personal Information is collected from children on our
Web site and how we use such information. We use best efforts to establish
and maintain reasonable procedures to protect the confidentiality, security
and integrity of personal information collected from children, although
no assurances are provided.
No part of our Web site is specifically structured to attract children
under the age of 13, except as a student under the guidance and supervisions
of an adult. Parental/Guardian consent is required in order for any child
under 13 years of age to submit Personal Information to the Linkonlearning.
Web site, and before Linkonlearning will use or disclose that Personal
Information. Only a parent or guardian may register a child for access
to Linkonlearning.
We will provide to a parent or guardian, upon proper request and identification,
the following information about their child: (i) a description of the
specific types of personal information collected from the child, and (ii)
the opportunity at any time to refuse to permit us further use or maintenance
in retrievable form, or future online collection, of Personal Information
from that child. Certain exceptions may apply to the foregoing provisions,
pursuant to COPPA and other applicable law.
If you are a teacher, school administrator, tutor or similar party, entering
information about children, you represent that you have proper authority
to submit the child’s personal information, and agree to hold harmless
Linkonlearning from any and all claims relating to the acceptance and
use of such information.

This site may contain links to other websites; Linkonlearning is not
responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these sites. You
have the option to change or modify information previously provided by
revising your member profile online or by contacting Linkonlearning via
